Terms and Conditions
Conditions for orders placed through this shop.
As of: July 2026
§ 1 Provider & Scope
The provider is Wiktoria Klaudia Guzowska, sole trader (EI), 5 Rue Jaboulay, 69007 Lyon, France (hereinafter referred to as "BlitzLab"). These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through the BlitzLab online shop.
§ 2 Eligible Customers & Intended Use
The products are supplied for research purposes only (Research Use Only). By placing an order, the customer confirms that they are at least 21 years old and are purchasing the products exclusively for research and laboratory purposes. Use on or in humans or animals is not permitted.
If the customer orders as a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB, the mandatory consumer protection provisions apply; in particular, the right of withdrawal set out in our Withdrawal Policy applies.
§ 3 Conclusion of Contract
The product presentation does not constitute a binding offer. By placing an order, you submit an offer; the contract is concluded upon our order confirmation.
§ 4 Prices & Shipping Costs
The prices shown at the time of order plus shipping costs apply. As a small business, we do not show VAT separately (TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI). Free shipping from €250 (EU).
§ 5 Payment
Available payment methods: Credit card and Apple Pay via payment service provider Whop Payments, cryptocurrency via NOWPayments, and prepayment by bank transfer. For prepayments, we ship after receipt of payment.
§ 6 Delivery & Shipping
Shipping from Germany, delivery time usually 2–5 working days (EU). Neutral, discreet packaging. Details during the ordering process.
§ 7 Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until fully paid for.
§ 8 Right of Withdrawal
Consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) have a statutory right of withdrawal of fourteen days. You can find details, conditions and legal consequences, as well as the sample withdrawal form, in our Withdrawal Policy.
The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they were unsealed after delivery (Section 312g(2) no. 3 BGB). Our vials are sealed; the right of withdrawal therefore expires once the seal has been removed.
Traders (business customers) within the meaning of Section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB) do not have a statutory right of withdrawal. Returns out of goodwill are in this case only possible after prior agreement and exclusively for unopened, originally sealed goods.
§ 9 Warranty
The statutory rights in the event of defects apply.
§ 10 Research Use Only
All products are intended exclusively for scientific in-vitro research; additional provisions are set out in our Compliance Guidelines.
§ 11 Liability
For damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, as well as in cases of intent and gross negligence, BlitzLab shall be liable without limitation in accordance with the statutory provisions. In all other respects, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract, insofar as this is legally permissible. As the products are exclusively for scientific research purposes, any liability for misuse – in particular any application on or in humans or animals – is excluded.
§ 12 Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
French law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If the customer is a consumer, they retain the protection afforded to them by those provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence which cannot be derogated from by agreement (Article 6(2) of the Rome I Regulation). For consumers habitually resident in Germany, this therefore includes German consumer protection provisions, including the right of withdrawal.
To the extent permitted by law, the courts at the provider's registered office (Lyon, France) shall have jurisdiction. This does not apply to consumers: in accordance with statutory provisions, they may also bring legal proceedings at their place of residence and may be sued there.
